A Message to our Customers and Communities

Effective March 19, 2020, State Bank of Bement will be temporarily closing all lobbies and walk-in facilities in an effort to assist with the health and well-being of our employees, customers and communities. We will continue to maintain a safe and sound banking environment, however ask that you utilize our drive thru facilities until further notice. Should you need to speak with a loan officer, access your safe deposit box or open an account, please see the information below.

Our drive thru facilities will maintain the same hours and are located at:

180 E. Bodman St., Bement, IL (reopen lane 1 of old drive up)

            Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm; Saturday 8am - noon

181 W. Wilson St., Bement, IL

            Monday – Friday 7am – 7pm; Saturday 7am – 5pm

1927 N Market St., Monticello, IL

            Monday – Friday 7am – 7pm; Saturday 7am – 5pm

301 Chapin, Ivesdale, IL

            Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:30pm; Friday 8am – 6pm; Saturday 8am - noon

Please remember you do not need to physically come into the bank in order to conduct your normal banking. We have many options to serve you virtually anytime and anywhere. You can enroll in online banking at bankbement.com or download our StateBankofBement mobile app thru your app store. Please contact us with any questions you may have or assistance you may need.

In branch visits may be scheduled in advance by appointment only. Please call us at 217-678-2311 or 217-762-2265 to schedule an appointment for opening an account, coin orders, accessing a safe deposit box or meeting with a lender. Please try to practice social distancing while in our lobby and stay 3’ to 6’ from your neighbor.

IMPORTANT: We ask if any of the following pertains to you that you do NOT visit our lobby or drive thru:

  • If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 such as coughing, fever of 100.4 or higher or shortness of breath
  • If you have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or if you have been ordered to quarantine
  • If you are wearing a mask
  • If you or someone in your household, someone you have been in close contact with or someone you are caring for, has returned from travel the last 14 days or made a travel connection to a CDC Level 3 Country. (Visit cdc.gov for a list of level 3 countries)
